Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Helvi (“App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account: Email address and basic profile information for account creation (if you register).
Usage: App interactions and usage data via Firebase Analytics to understand performance and improve features.
Crash & Diagnostics: Crash logs and device information via Firebase Crashlytics for stability and troubleshooting.
Event Interactions: Viewing, saving, and browsing data (anonymous if not logged in).
Location (optional): With your permission, we may access your device’s precise location to sort and display nearby events. Location is processed on-device, not linked to your identity, and not used for tracking or advertising.
Media: Images are loaded and cached using SDWebImageSwiftUI (no personal data collected).

To provide, personalize, and improve the App and its features (including “Near Me” sorting).
To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
To diagnose and fix app issues (analytics, crash and error reports).

Firebase Authentication (Google LLC): User sign-in and account management.
Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): Usage evaluation and feature improvement.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): Error and crash reporting.
SDWebImageSwiftUI: Image downloading and caching; does not collect personal information.

We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
Firebase (Google LLC) acts as a data processor on our behalf.
We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain data while you use the App or as required by law.
You may delete your account at any time; anonymized usage and diagnostics may remain for analytics and stability.

Helvi’s content is rated 4+ on the App Store. Accounts are intended for adults (parents/guardians).
Children may use the App under adult supervision without creating an account.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Where an account is created: the account holder must be 16+ in the EU/CH (or 13+ elsewhere), or a parent/guardian acting on the child’s behalf.

Request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, or object to certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the App.
